The York Technical College Foundation, Inc. is excited to announce the launch of the York Technical College Alumni Connection this fall. The Alumni Connection is a new program supported by the Foundation and is designed to strengthen relationships among alumni and the College in an effort to positively impact our community.

“The Alumni Connection is an exciting and rewarding opportunity for York Tech alumni to engage fellow graduates and current students, reconnect with former classmates and inspirational faculty members,” stated Tisha Poteat, Director of Alumni and Engagement at York Technical College. Membership is open to York Tech graduates and former students, and they are welcome to participate in the events and programs available through the Connection.”

The Alumni Connection is currently seeking individuals who are interested in serving in a leadership role for its Advisory Group, the leadership body for the Connection. The Advisory Group will play an active role in guiding alumni engagement efforts by serving as strategic advisors to the College’s Office of Development and Alumni Engagement and the YTCF Board of Directors. This volunteer role is a tremendous opportunity for those interested in growing the new alumni program and helping the College broaden its community impact. The Connection is looking for a diverse group of volunteers who are proven leaders, have demonstrated service to the College and community, and enjoy collaboration.

York Tech alumni interested in serving on the Advisory Group are encouraged to apply. Applications for the inaugural Advisory Group cohort will be accepted through September 18, 2017.
