Coker Promoted at WebsterRogers in Pawleys Island

WebsterRogers, LLP, a South Carolina-based accounting and consulting firm providing clients with assurance, tax, and advisory services, has named Kirby Coker senior tax manager.

Coker primarily works out of the firm’s Pawleys Island location and leads the firm’s Estates and Trust Services Group. Coker, who graduated magna cum laude from the University of South Carolina with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, also holds a master's degree in accounting from the University of South Carolina with a concentration in taxation.

Bobby Creech, former leader of the Estates and Trust Services Group and member of the firm’s executive committee, said, “This is a well-deserved promotion for Kirby. Coker began her career in public accounting in 2006 and joined WebsterRogers in 2008 where she specializes in tax planning, consulting and compliance for individuals, trusts, and estates. She is licensed in South Carolina and is a member of both the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She has been a member of the Charleston Estate Planning Council since 2012.

Coker serves on the board of trustees for AMIKids Georgetown and on the board of directors of Tidelands Community Hospice Foundation. She is also a member of the Tidelands Foundation Planned Giving Committee and the Georgetown County Young Professionals.
