Christopher Mills Joins Nelson Mullins Litigation Team in Charleston, S.C.

Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP announced that Christopher E. Mills has joined the firm as a partner in Charleston. He most recently served as a law clerk to the Honorable Clarence Thomas in the U.S. Supreme Court.

Mills has represented clients in a wide variety of state and federal appellate and trial proceedings, in areas including constitutional law, antitrust, patent, copyright, consumer products class action defense, employment law, and securities. He has authored briefs and motions in the U.S. Supreme Court as well as numerous federal and state courts of appeal and trial courts. He has successfully argued before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit.

A Charleston native, Mills earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from Harvard Law School, where he was a Senior Editor of the Harvard Law Review. He earned his B.A., summa cum laude, in economics from Furman University.
