AT&T Names Amanda Taylor New Upstate Regional Director

Amanda Taylor has been appointed Regional Director of External Affairs for AT&T in the Upstate region.
A 17-year veteran of AT&T, she succeeds Terrance Ford, who was previously named Director of Legislative Affairs for AT&T-South Carolina.
“We are thrilled that Amanda is joining our South Carolina team and to represent our company in the Upstate,” said Jane Sosebee, president of AT&T-South Carolina. “She has a deep understanding of how public policy and our technologies and services intersect to benefit customers and communities. And she is a passionate advocate for engaging in the community to make a last impact on others’ lives.”
Taylor previously worked in the External Affairs organization for AT&T-Arkansas and as a manager in the company’s Office of the President, where she supervised teams of caseworkers in investigating and resolving customer escalations. She began her career as a customer care representative for AT&T’s predecessor company, Cingular Wireless.

A native of Conway, AR, Taylor holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Phoenix. She and her husband, Mark, have 2 daughters.
