Stephanie Few to Speak on “Attracting & Retaining Life Sciences Organizations” at SCBIO Boot Camp March 17th

Womble Bond Dickinson economic development attorney Stephanie Few will be one of 15 biotech industry insiders speaking at SCBIO’s Life Sciences Boot Camp: Insights on SC’s Fastest-Growing Industry.

South Carolina’s booming life sciences industry generates a $12 billion economic impact and employs tens of thousands of South Carolinians. Few, who also serves as SCBIO’s Board of Directors Vice-Chair, will take part in a panel discussion on attracting and retaining life sciences companies. 

She and her fellow panelists will share economic development secrets to successfully attracting, retaining, nurturing and growing this knowledge economy stalwart. Attendees also will learn how these three economic development professionals are working to make the economic ecosystem in South Carolina even more appealing to life sciences organizations.

Few will be joined in the panel discussion by Jeremy Migliara and Will Clarke from Elliott Davis.

The SCBIO Life Sciences Boot Camp takes place March 17 at the SCHA Yates Conference Center in Columbia. 

Stephanie Few has played a role in many of South Carolina’s largest economic development deals of the past 20 years. She works closely with companies seeking to expand or relocate operations to the Carolinas and the Southeastern United States. Her efforts on behalf of clients have led to the creation of thousands of new jobs and billions of dollars in new investments. When the New York Times profiled Charleston’s economic boom in 2017, Few was one of the local leaders the Times turned to for insight.
